It all began in Sandbach, where a master butcher created recipes for proper pork pies back in 1935. Those recipes were passed down through generations until, nearly eighty years later, we brought them back to life and founded the Cheshire Pie Company in 2013 in the same town, with the same respect for tradition and a renewed passion for quality.

We believe good food doesn’t need to be complicated. Our pies are made from simple, honest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, and baked the way they always have been: by hand, with care.

While our roots are firmly in the classics like our signature pork pie, we love exploring inventive flavours and unique shapes. For our hot pie range, we have even designed our own custom square moulds, a small touch that reflects the pride and attention to detail behind every pie we make.

We started selling at local farmers markets around Cheshire. As our community grew, we began serving markets across the North West and North Wales, and in September 2019 we opened our own farm shop just outside Nantwich.
