Law & Jurisdiction
We use reasonable endeavours to make sure that every product on our website is shown accurately and that prices are correct. However, occasionally there may be small variations in colour, typefaces and layout.
When you place an order with us (by choosing your item(s) and completing our online checkout process), we will send you an acknowledgement by email. This will detail the products you have ordered. Please note that your completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your order.
From time to time, we may not be able to accept an order for the following reasons:
Goods are not available
Your payment is not authorised
A pricing or product description error
You do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Payment must be through our website
Delivery is free for orders of £20 or more, you must ensure you choose the correct delivery terms.
If any of the details you have given us in your delivery address are incorrect, we are not liable for any items which are not received, or charges made to you.
We can deliver your order on Tuesday & Friday to the areas local to us shown on the website, these are designated by postcode and your order will not be accepted if you are not in the correct postcode area.
All of our products are sent to you freshly baked and securely packaged. We are not using coolants.
Your order will be delivered by 6pm.
All orders will be delivered twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays.
We do not accept responsibility for any courier issues.
Be sure that there is someone is at the address when your order is delivered as it will need to be taken in. Failure to accept delivery will result in you still being charged, no refund will be offered. Please leave a contact Number when placing your order (preferably a mobile) which will be used by delivery driver to contact you prior to delivery if necessary.
Let us know if you If you live in a block of flats
Unpack your order immediately and refrigerate at 4-5 degrees. Do not leave your products in direct sunlight or a warm room. Take out of the packaging
During the coronavirus outbreak items will be left on your doorstep and we will knock on your door and/or ring the bell. A photo will be taken of your door and delivery to provide proof that it has been delivered to your door. This will be kept for 14 days in case of any dispute; it will then be removed from our records unless required for evidence in any dispute.
Deliveries can be affected by public or Bank Holidays and circumstances beyond our control
Neither we, nor the courier service shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control; these circumstances to include but not be limited to any adverse weather conditions – such as snow, flood, extreme winds, fire, explosion, accident, traffic congestion, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike.
Changing or cancelling an order
All products are handmade to order. Therefore, you must call or email us prior to production (normally within 12 hours of placing your order) if you need to change or cancel it.
Telephone calls and emails are answered during business hours (8.30am –3.00pm to Friday) in the order they are received. It is therefore possible that your order could begin production before your email is processed and we will be unable to make any changes. We will confirm any order amendment or cancellation via email.
You will not be able to change or cancel your order once production has begun. No refunds will be given.
In the unfortunate event that that your order arrives damaged, please call or email us immediately. Do not remove the product from its original packaging as you will be required to send us photographic evidence. A replacement will normally be dispatched within 48 hours.
Cheshire Pie Company decision regarding order amendments, cancellations and refunds is final.
